The maximum contribution per individual is $2,800 per election (2022 Primary / 2022 General election) for a total of $5,600. Also, a couple, where both names are listed on the joint account, may contribute up to $5,600 per election (2022 Primary / 2022 General election), for a total of $11,200. The first $2,800 of each individual’s contribution will be allocated toward the 2022 Primary Election and the second $2,800 of each individual’s contribution will be allocated to the 2022 General Election unless otherwise noted. Multi-candidate Federal PAC’s may contribute $5,000 per election (2022 Primary/2022 General) for a total of $10,000.
Federal law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation and employer of each individual whose contributions exceed $200 in an election cycle.
Contributions to Portman for Senate are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes. Funds received in response to this solicitation are subject to federal contribution limits. Contributions from corporations, foreign nationals, labor organizations, and federal government contractors are not permitted.
